Subscribers
Subscribers receive automatic notifications when you post incidents or updates on your status page — keeping customers informed without manual communication.
Subscription options

Enabling subscriptions
- Open your status page → "Settings"
- Enable the subscription types you want: Email, SMS, Webhook
- Optionally restrict subscriptions:
- Anyone: Anyone who visits can subscribe
- Email domain: Only
@yourco.comaddresses can subscribe - Invite only: You manually add subscribers
Managing subscribers
View and manage your subscriber list under Status Page → Subscribers:
- Export as CSV
- Remove subscribers
- Manually import a list
Notification customization
Customize the email template subscribers receive:
- Status Page → Settings → Email Template
- Edit the subject line, header logo, colors, and footer
- Preview and save
Default subject: "We're investigating an issue — [Your Page Name]"
Custom subject: "🚨 {{incident.title}} — {{page.name}}"
Double opt-in
Enable double opt-in to prevent spam subscriptions:
- User enters their email
- Receives a confirmation email
- Must click "Confirm subscription" to receive future updates
Unsubscribe
Every notification includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately removes the subscriber.
